TWA: Looking Feminine After the Big Chop Pt 2

This video is in three parts.

So you pick up the scissors and start cutting those relaxed ends off. Snip snip snip - almost done. You've only transitioned for a short period of time but to hell with waiting .... you want those ends gone ... snip snip snip - big chop complete. You look in the mirror and want to cry because you think you look like a little boy. " What have I just done !!! Can I stick back the relaxed ends on my head ? What will everyone else around me think ? I need some hair on my head ! A wig ! Weave ! Something to make me look like a woman !!!"

Girl chile... breeze ya self !

No matter how bald you go... you are going to look like the bomb ! Just pop the face and wear the accessories. You don't need hair to make you beautiful, accentuate your facial features .. smile .. keep your head up and let everyone around you get all jealous because of how confident you are with such little hair on your head.

There are going to be good days and bad days . On those bad days ...just remember why you chose to go natural in the first place. I haven't had a bad day since I big chopped. I have had days where my hair looked rusty but it wasn't like when I was relaxed and I wanted noone to see me. I still feel presentable on my bad days ... I still feel beautiful.

You can get headbands, headwraps , hairclips and all the sorts from places like your local BSS, thrift stores, flea markets and street vendors. Stores like Claire's , Afaze , Hot Topic , Forever 21 , Icings (i think) , PayHalf, Target , Walmart and the list goes on

@annieoshin i love your attitude towards your natral hair , i was the same way before my bc. My hair, like most natural heads, is naturally curly , but the gel makes my curls pop
