  • . . .wow. this sounds like when my band was playing this for the first week or two. no offense. soprano sax solo was not the greatest. i'm sure you guys could of done better with more practice.

  • my only advise is to connect to the music... instead of it being so chopped up and instead of everyone worrying about how frantic the piece is... just connect to the music emotionally and have fun... =))

I love this piece... we're playing it for our spring concert and i'm 1st horn =p

  • nice. this song is badass

  • We played this last year. Definately one of my favorite peices throughout high school.

    It's so badass!

  • Yeah, this piece rocks as a marching show when you play all movement in the right way.

  • Meh... squeaky clarinet... something sounds out of tune, too... The beginning is sort of weak, but it gets better. Sometimes it takes time to slip into a piece. I guess this is one of those moments....

  • Our band did this as a marching show... its was awesome..

  • Dont take this as a bash or anything but I now the trickiness of this piece because not only did I play this for state but my band played this for every band director inthe state... bu to be honest this was not the right choice for the band....throughout the who piece the band in not together it sounds like an echo. The whole song from beginning to end was rushed and crazy out of tune...I know I am an All-State Clainet player, but this was the worst playing of this I've heard of this song..sorry!

  • Here I'll just comment on the opening solos(long song, and I don't have time to listen to the whole thing)

The opening notes were...less than impressive. Maybe the soloist was nervous or something, but it comes off as weak, and they've got bad sound.

The flute solo was done fairly well. Could've been more connected(I had the job of that solo), but it's in a seriously unpleasant range, with a weird jump or two.

  • just wanted to thank kn777 whoever you are! :)
