A student project shot less than two miles from the actual massacre site. The massacre occurred during the American Civil War fifteen miles north of Asheville, North Carolina. Evan Heimgartner

  • @MyRidgerunner I bet we're related... My moms a shelton, all from shelton laurel and im said to be kin to some of the victims.

  • Great video! I wish somebody would make a full length movie about this horrific deed. My mother was a Shelton ans I have heard this story many many times as a child from my grandfather and uncles, its even believed that our kin was one of the 13 murdered, Ive been to the grave, as you walk into the woods to go to the mass grave, there are all these many small tombstones just off the trail leading in, mostly Sheltons. Please, somebody tell this story to the world, give the fallen thier due!
