Long Trips; it's very important to give the car a thorough checking over. And that really means that it should go into a repair shop and you should get a full blown safety inspection because there are a lot of things on a modern car that could be going bad but don't give you any symptoms, so just because you don't feel anything doesn't mean there isn't anything going wrong.
