Joe's POV:
Just play it cool Joe. It's ok. If she doesn't like you then you know it just wasn;t meant to be. I walked over to her sitting down next to her in the sand staring into the ocean. 'Hey' I said confidently. I saw out of the corner of my eye her looking over at me smiling and then looking back to the ocean to watch her dog. 'Its you' she said as she focused her attention on me. I turned to face her and was taken back from her beauty. She was gorgeous. 'Im Joe' I said smiling. She smiled saying 'marissa' 'I like that name' I saw her blush and look down.

'So didn;t have enough nerve to come up and talk to me yesterday?' she said throwing the toy for her dog once again. 'I could have if you hadn't ran away' I said playfully. She just continued looking into the ocean. 'So what did you need?' She asked me. 'I wanted to know if you wanted to grab lunch sometime tommorow?' I saw her bite her lip in thinking. I waited patiently.

She looked at me with dissapointment in her eyes. 'You seem like a nice guy Joe, but I just kinda met you' She said looking down as if ashammed. I lost my smile knodding my head. 'I understand' I said as I got up looking down at her. 'It was nice meeting you marissa' and with that I walked up the path to my house feeling completely shattered and humiliated inside.

Marissa's POV:
God Marissa could you get and more retarded. this is why I never get dates. Always pushing them away. He seemed so nice and so sweet. He was the kinda guy that would make me do a double take I can tell ya that. And there he was walking away. Any chance I ever had with what's his name? oh yeah Joe, was now ruined. I quickly got up hooking Jessie to her leash and ran to catch up with Joe. 'hey wait up!!' I yelled. He slowly turned around looking at me like I was an idiot. With out saying I walked up to him taking a pen out of some strangers hand who was sitting on a bench right next to us, took his arm and wrote down my number on it. 'Call me' I said in a flirty voice as I flashed him a smile, he smiled back. It melted me inside. 'I will' he said as i handed the dude his pen back. 'Thanks' I said to the stranger and turned my attention back to Joe.

'What happend to me bieng a stranger?'Joe asked me looking down. He was really tall. or maybe I was a shortie. Nahh! 'I thought you deserved a shot' I said he laughed and we just looked into eachothers eyes for what seemed like minutes. 'So i'll call you' he said blushing as he realized what we were doing. 'I hope so' I said. 'Dont worry' he said looking at me again. God why cant i just walk away? he is so addicting. MY GOD I'VE KNOW HIM FOR 15 MINUTES!!!!!! 'Bye Joe' I said smiling. As I walked away slowly.

'Bye Marissa' He said in a cute little voice. I turned around waving to him, he did the same.

So im not sure if im going to continue this series. Nobody ever comments it and it makes me feel like It's a piece of shit. So if you want me to keep it then please please please comment the stories!!!!!!!!!
