Clip from the movie 'Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home' with some parts edited out to concentrate on the whalers.
The language they speak is probably Kvennish, which is a mutually intelligible dialect of Finnish, mostly spoken by the population in Northern Norway.

@LoganHunter82 No, it's kvennish. I am a finn, and I can tell it's very close to finnish, but not quite. (kvens are people from finland who moved to the northern part on Norway and kept their finnish language)

My Dad put this on last night - it's my favourite of the films so far! As for the Bird Of Prey? Ah well, that's one more mythical sea creature added to the list!
