Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence - Sorrow's River Glitch

AuroraFirestorm told me about this originally. :O If you walk through the river and get to the Fury, then walk backwards, you'll hit an invisible wall. Walk forwards a little, then back again and you'll move a little further backwards. Repeat until you walk straight out the river into nothingness! It can take a while - I trimmed down a lot of it here.

The strangest part about this are the things Sorrow says when you do that. :O "What do you think you're doing" and "Come back" could just be because you're walking backwards, but "There's nothing out there" seems like the developers KNEW you could do this and gave Sorrow something to say if you did. :O It's a shame Fury was all up in my face during this, it made it hard to look at stuff. It'd be much easier if he wasn't there harrassing me.

There are still fish and skulls in the nothingness, as well as Sorrow and Fury of course. Also, is it normal that a soldier pops out from under the water to choke you if you're underwater too long? I don't remember noticing that before. But if that only happens when you're out in the nothingness well that'd be pretty creepy.

Also weird was that Sorrow said I was an "excellent opponent" this time around earlier in the river, which I haven't heard him say before. Odd. Maybe because I was booking it to try and get to the Fury. OH YEAH the only game I had near the Sorrow was one where I was playing around with the Fear's crossbow bolts, thus why Snake looks like a pincushion here.

I think you mean the Fear's crossbow bolts. Still, it does give me an idea. What if the bosses had each other's weapons?

The nature loving End would be horrified at accidentally burning down his forest. Or the Fear would have a stung tongue from hornets.

2:53 for a second there, I thought that was Vamp in between Snake and The Fury, but it's just a soldier from Virtuous Mission. Man, that is one fucked-up-looking place!

@SPYDER438 It's pretty impossible to know unless someone has told you (I then looked it up) and I did it on my second playthrough. Hideo Kojima definetly knows how to deliberantly add these weird things in his games. If you go on the gamespot MGS3 page theres a whole list of them. Some very funny
