  • Great video as usual.

The Timpani is the Ringer model. Dresden are a different kind of pedal.

Originally made in Berlin. The Ludwig versions are faithful replicas.

    Legendary.

  • @zeptimp

Very cool and we have some history you would love. How about a photo collection of the process of making Ringer timpani in the factory! We even have a photo of BII and Ringer inspecting the reproduction... Maybe for another show... Thanks!

  • Thanks, Jim and Dave, and William Ludwig III. That was fun! Check out the AVM video featuring my '68 Ludwig kit. It was used on the recording of the AVM song 'Changing'. other AVM videos feature my trusty Slingerland's or the studio Mapex kits.

  • @kickboyavm1 Thanks for watching! It was great having B3 stop by and sharing all that history.

  • I noticed Alex Van Halen wasn't listed? Must have been before their 78' debut release.
