Dr. Paul Brillhart explains the first thing everyone should know about hormones - they aren't all the same. Even though a supposed "estrogen" may look like an estrogen, a horse estrogen is not a human estrogen. Even slight differences in the arrangement of atoms can have huge effects. The Point: To replace hormones, accept no substitutes; use the real thing specifically designed for use in your body.
And by the way: When studies show that big name pharmaceutical "hormones," e.g., those derived from horse urine, are harmful, it would be erroneous to conclude that bioidentical hormones are harmful as well. They aren't the same thing. You can order a DVD by visiting drpaulbrillhart.com.
