Keith wasn't fired. After the on-air friction between Keith & Chris Matthews, and Keith's on-air disgust with the RNC coopting Sept. 11 footage for political gain, MSNBC decided to use David Gregory (rather than Olbermann and Matthews) for remaining Election '08 coverage--which is basically only the debates.

Olbermann and Matthews are still doing their usual jobs (Countdown & Hardball, respectively).

Mccain has flopped on taxes, he's flopped on torture, he's flopped on his statements about the evangelical movement. His campaign is running adverts with more lies in them than truth. Now he picks a VP who he criticized on 3 separate occasions for wasteful earmarks in 2001 while she was mayor of wasilla (source LA TIMES).

No, thats not what i'm saying. I'm saying that if its a choice between taxing and spending and not taxing and spending - its more fiscally responsible to tax and spend. So after 30 years of pork programs proposed and not vetoed by republican presidents, all a sudden mccain is going to do it? When there was republican controlled house, senate and presidency the programs went away right? Remember that W ran on small government, just like mccain.

no, it comes from the fringe news organization known as the.. new york times. She also put the town in debt 22 million dollars (up from no debt). She got the city sued for 1.3 million by seizing private properties under eminent domain to build a sports arena.

So let me get this straight...all the tax and spend entitlements and pork that the Dems tie to legislation is the Presidents fault??? Democrats = 30 years of entitlement and pork programs and counting...Presidents don't propose or fuck up good legislation and with no line item veto how is it their fault...that is the problem with DC...are you telling me Obama is going to change all that as president after proposing $750million in earmarks in 100 weeks in the Senate

no, she didn't kill the bridge to nowhere. The republican congress was against it - she was for it. The republican congress refused to fund it - then finally in 2007 (well over a year after the money for the bridge had been forked over) she decided to be against it. Alaska still has that money. She hired lobbyists when she was in Wasilla that secured 27 million in earmarks. Thats over 4k per resident.  She increased government spending by 33% there, and raised taxes by 38%. (tax and spend?)

yeah sure - yet a republican president, a republican house, and republican senate continued right along the lines of reagan and bush the 1st. Reagan could have veto'd all those bills coming through his office, as could have bush 1. Each one of them rallied against tax and spend policies - and each one didn't tax - and spent and put us in debt over 10 times what we'd be without them.

I have read articles stating that She killed the bridge to nowhere (that Obama and Biden voted for), She reduced earmarks in her 1st term 50% and down to 30% in the 2nd term...there is no question that she went after corruption and pissed off members of both parties...She did put the plane on ebay...are we down to the chef??...What Lies??

I actually clicked over to Olbermann and heard him refer to himself as a "journalist" Fucking hysterical!!! What is really scary is that he probably believes his own bullshit...I never said Oreilly is objective but he is the only one that has ever challenged Obama..that says something in itself about the coverage Obama receives..if I were a Hillary fan,I would be fucking pissed!!I got absolutely nothing from Olbermann's love fest with obama other than a strong urge to throw a brick through my TV
