@phoenixtimes2 I agree with you that he did a mistake has a man. But whats weird is that a man like him cant no longer run for president. while Newt Gingrich who did the same thing to his wife with cancer, is allowed to run for president in 2012. Hypocrisy

I met him, I worked for his campaign, supported his efforts, and deeply believed in the cause of "Edwards for President." I do not condone what he did in any way. But I can not comprehend how people can be so cruel and merciless as to enjoy the pain, despair, and suffering of other people.

This man did NOTHING for North Carolina as a Senator. I had my problems with JEsse Helms but at least Helms took care of the folks back home if they had a problem. Edwrds did nothing but help himself at the taxpayers expense to promote himself. This man is pathetich piece of grabage and I feel so sorry for his wife. She deserves so much better, North CArolina got better with Richard Burr now maybe American can be better without John Edwards ever being in public office.

Edwards, Clinton and others were caught up in the fear that followed 9/11. Obama and Gore and Paul didn't react to fear.
