Just a quick test of the new vox amplug Acoustic, headphone amplifier designed to emulate the sound of an acoustic guitar. Better results for me with a Stratocaster using neck pickup. Try yoursef out before you buy it... the hiss noise comes from the unit, unfortunately i'm not able to tell if it's mine or it's a common problem. Nice sound anyway...

  • Nope... just acoustic simulation.... buy hey that's what it is sold for! bye!

  • Any of them is clean set on 1 on gain? I want one and i don't know which. AC30, classic rock, Satch's....

  • @112358miau Hi, basically any of the Amplug can do clean signal, the best clean anyway comes from AC30, or the "BASS" dedicated model which works fine for clean sound even with guitar. The satch is fine but not as good as hyped in my opinion, i found it hard to believe that Joe put its signature on it, to be honest...

  • can it make an electric guitar sound???

  • @YetAnotherBeginner Thanks. I'll go for the AC30. And yes, the bass one is great for guitar, I like the clean "channel" with high gain!!

  • i have the amplug classic rock.

it sucks with a bad guitar, but sounds very good with a fender, or some guitar like that.

i love to use with a light distorction. sounds like a tube amp.

  • @mysticradio this is for an electric sounds like an acoustic

  • er uhhhhhh isnt this for an acoustic guitar?

  • what kind of head phones do you have to put like the small ones for mp3 players or the other ones for an amp?

  • @YetAnotherBeginner The lead's delay is acceptable, but combined with the reverb (which is WAY TOO BIG for metal... or anything else that isn't Stevie Ray Vaughan) it's just awful. Thank the gods they had the sense to let you turn it off.
