No - do not move a tarantula that is just about to moult unless its life is at risk, which it isn't from mites. Having said that, they shouldn't be there anyway, and this suggests there is not enough airflow in the tank, or conditions are too moist. When the spider has fully recovered from its moult, you'll need to do a complete tank change asap.

Ah. That would be different, of course, although there is still no need to pick up a T to clean its tank. May I recommend the bottle top approach, which will stress the animal as little as possible, and keep it and you safe for the duration of the transfer ? May I also recommend you do some research into how often it is a good idea to change T tanks...

I'm getting my first t soon, I'm only 13. I love this kind its so cool. I read they are hardy but can be skittish. I really want to be able to handel it. How fast do they move (mph) when they get scared?

A tarantula does not want to be handled. They move faster than your eye can follow when scared and they will be scared when you attempt to handle them, especially if you don't know what you are doing. I would seriously suggest you don't get one, if its just the 'cool factor' you're interested in. These animals are living art, not playthings.
