The next major version of Windows (currently dubbed 'Windows 7') was demoed briefly today at the All Things Digital conference. Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer spoke with Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher and showed off new multi-touch features in Windows 7.
Microsoft has adapted the multi-touch technology of their Surface computer into Windows.
That's so pointless.
Its just Vista with a touch screen, anyone know tablet laptops? They do the exact same thing.

Microsoft started to develop a multi-touch screen before apple iPhone rummor became true.

Yup, it just takes them longer to release that's all. Reason being for all the noobs out there: iPhones and iPod Touches don't change screen resolution!

Well, microsoft was doing this kinda thing with the "surface" tables before the iphone was even thought of, so yeah it is pretty original.

How original...isn't the iphone doing this, but better? Isn't the iphone based on MacOS X? Is Microsoft doing the hardware? I don't think so. Touch technology is as good as the hardware is...
