The government practice of combining trust and federal funds began during the Vietnam War, thus making the human needs portion of the budget seem larger and the military portion smaller.
Total Outlays (Federal Funds): $2,650 billion
MILITARY: 54% and $1,449 billion
NON-MILITARY: 46% and $1,210 billion

"This ad is full of more shit than a port-o-potty at the end of the day."
As well as what is spewing from what you arrogantly refer to as the 'last brain left' in your pseudonym ;- ] .

To be fair we all should be equal when it comes to money no one should make more the anyone else, so let set a national pay rate of 250,001 so we all can pay the same amount in taxes. This way no one will be poor and we will all live the good live.

"defense spending is less than 20% of the entire federal budget. social entitlements are the largest portions of the federal budget, by far...soc sec and medicare are the two largest as %'s."
False.Your percentages are wrong as the portion we pay out of our Fed Income Tax. Trust funds — such as Social Security — are raised and spent separately from income taxes. What you pay (or don’t pay) by April 15, 2008, goes to the federal funds portion of the budget.
