Drum cover of Peg from Steely Dan. a song that was released as a single from the 1977 album Aja, In G Major, and was a big hit in 1978. With the great Michael McDonald on background vocals and the legendary Chuck Rainey on bass.
Rick Marotta on drums on the session and I'm triggering a facsimile of his brother Jerry Marotta's kit from Sonic Reality's Drum Masters 2, how cool is that!?

I can't do anything but follow the rhythm. Double beat on hi hat is nice, indeed.
By the way: I'm downloading a piano track for a half-finished song we wanted to do long ago. Maybe you'll have news in a couple of weeks.

Another great cover! I have a question...on a typical cover, how much time or how many times do you practice before publishing a song or is it different for each song? Thanks, Mike

@miperr3987 Thanks Mike. It all depends on the complexity of the song. For this song it took a few times through before I was satisfied with the performance. For a song like Frankenstein, that took weeks of prep and practice. For a simple early Beatles tune such as Do You Want To Know A Secret or I Should've Known Better, just one time through, the very first take, that's a wrap!
