i only learned alex's part basically. but if u listen to the song, you can hear jack's part pretty easily. it just sounds like a higher version of what alex's plays. im also pretty sure jack isnt playing power chords. he's probably only using the fifth and third string. i hope that helped, sorry if it didnt =\

you did an excellent job! this song is easy to learn by ear and when i did i played the 10th and 12th fret on the open D string like you do as well. but i watched a video of them playing it live and realize that instead of going up to 10 and 12 on the D string they played power chords on the 3rd and 5th frets on the A string. it sounds good either way and is almost impossible to tell the difference between the two, but i just thought id let you know

and yea, most bands prefer to go up to the a string instead of go so far down to the 10th and 12th frets. but i find it easier XD
