In this video tutorial we're going to create a collapsing bridge with Particle Flow in 3ds max 9. Remains of Longteng Bridge is a very famous scenic spot in Taiwan. Longteng Bridge was made in 1905 during Japanese Era in Taiwan. Because of earthquake, the Bridge collapsed and became those remains you see today . In this video tutorial, we're going to recreate the collapsing process. First, we will create a simple bridge model, and cut this geometry into pieces with SplitItup maxscript , and then convert those pieces of geometry into Particles with Bobo's maxscript, finally we will use those particle to create a collapsing bridge animation.

  • hi there..is it possible to insert an image to 3d max without mapping the image to an object??

  • only if you're applying a procedural textures to your model

  • Your tutorials keep getting better and better! Awesome stuff, always a pleasure to watch your vids! Thanks Hammerbchen!

  • Thank tou Akiracon! I hope one day I could become a 3DCG master!

  • nice tutorial, but that doesnt look pretty realistic.

  • This tutorial focus on onverting fragmented object into Particle not modeling/textureing, you an make it better more real if you want.
