"Lux Underwater," which won a 2007 Lester Horton Dance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Performance - Company, was filmed for the evening-length dance show "Breaking the Cypher," performed at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood on October 5th, 2007. The film was meant to segue from a piece showing a historical timeline of breaking, into a piece representing the possible future of the dance - theatricalized and fully integrated with contemporary dance. This second piece was titled "Beached" and can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgqFqGnQzzI.

Director: Alex "Journey" Mercado

Choreography: the dancers of Lux Aeterna in collaboration with Alex Mercado

Dancers: Amy "Catfox" Campion, Steve Cisneros, Sara "Ms. Mighty" Fenton, Jacob "Kujo" Lyons, Anibal "Animal" Sandoval
