see the new documentary abt him page and white , he sings at the end and in between as well. He is a good enough singer to get a couple of songs per album

One time when I met Edge I told him he had a great voice and asked him why he didn't sing more. He thought for a second then smirked, and said "then what would Bono do?"

maybe can sing the edge better then bono, but bono is singing with his heart.

The big difference is that Bono is a front-man, edge isn't. It's always good to have the front man singing.

The Edge may sing better than Bono, but Bono is the most charismatic frontman ever.
And as a frontman like Bono is essential for any band.
Just as every good band needs a genius like Edge, who plays any instrument, and sings very well.
