Community Champ Japanese American National Museum

The Japanese American National Museum of Los Angeles promotes understanding and appreciation of America's ethnic and cultural diversity by sharing the Japanese American experience. By providing a voice for Japanese Americans and a forum for all people to explore their own heritage and cultures, the National Museum strives to strengthen our communities and increase respect among all people. At the core of the Museum is the principle that diversity and democracy are integrally related to each other—one cannot be adequately discussed or taught without the other.
