  • Thank you for this tutorial! One question: How do you avoid drying paint in the brush? I always have this problem with my brushes, no matter how many times I keep washing them during painting...

  • If the paint actually dries in the brush you need to stop, go wash it out thoroughly and start again. I rarely allow paint to dry in the brush since I'm constantly dipping it in water. Acrylics are water soluble so one dunk in water is going to rehydrate the acrylics and keep them from drying. With the liner brush I use, I can only get so many strokes/taps out of the brush before I run out of paint and have to go back to water so I don't have any problems with paint drying in the brush.
