Buying the T-Mobile G2 through a retail store

Several people have gotten their G2s already since they ordered it through customer service. However, the earliest you can buy it in a store is October the 3rd from Radio Shack. Here is the pricing breakdown:

Best Buy Mobile - $599.99 or $199.99 w/ 2 Year contract (Oct. 6th)
T-Mobile - $499.99 or $199.99 w/ 2 Year contract(Oct. 6th)
Radio Shack - $549.99 or $149.99 w/ 2 Year contract(Oct. 3rd)

If you want the phone early you can go to Radio Shack. Radio Shack has the cheapest contract pricing but T-Mobile stores have the cheapest off-contract pricing. Hopefully this helps some people out! I'll be getting my phone from T-Mobile on Wednesday so subscribe to see in-depth footage of the phone.

Is it really true that the screen won't go into horizontal mode unless you pull out the keyboard? If so, that is TRULY f'ed up! Please lemme know. Btw, great video. :)

@ayokay123 No that's not true. If your on a homescreen then yes, it only goes landscape when you open the keyboard. But in any application (including the web browser) it will go landscape when you turn the phone.

Well hey i'd like to say that im on the bandwagon, and all for it. I look forward to seeing more from you. And im 100% behind you on the whole contract deal, thats why im with T-Mobile... with a MyTouch cant wait to get rid of it for this G2(even after rooting it)

@MegaMzryo Blah, that phone is a fingerprint magnet. The entire thing is a cheap, glossy plastic, so it looks dirty all the time. Just go for the MT 4G, or better yet the HTC Sensation
