  • must have the screw too tight

  • you know the waste gate is on the hot side right? boost is made on the cold side. what you're hearing is boost then bov then the bov shuts when theres still compressed air and what you hear is the fluttering/surge of the COMPRESSOR not the TURBINE

  • @the00mustang. That isn't a cold air intake retard, its a short ram

  • your c.a.i. is kinda useless in that spot!!! its sucking in all the engine heat, why do you think its called a cold air intake? its meant for cool air, not that hot ass air, pretty much useless, but still clean looking car

  • something sounds off lol

  • @xFReSHeReST the tiny filter is the engine excess air mine has it to and i have that same little red filter on it

  • whats the tiny filter for

  • This guy talks like he has a mouth full of toilet paper

Neither is better than the other. They are just personal preference on if you would like the BOV to be louder or not. HOWEVER, if you vent atmosphere then you must be running a GM MAFT. The reason for this is because the ECU is expecting that vented air to be recirculated back into the intake. If it is not present then you will be running too rich.

  • @stupidplants not true. cars that are maf tuned"use a solenoid" are meant to have a bov recirced. not a huge deal to vta but u get massive fuel dumps inbetween shifts that bogs the car and jerks like a mofo between shifts. not really a big deal but.
