Electric Kantele demo

This is an electric Kantele I built a longer time ago. Apologies for the crummy on-camera mic - I need to get my mic amp and chain up again to have better quality sound.

It's an electric seven string Kantele. Concert versions of the instrument have over 30 strings while the medieval models usually had five, making this one closer to the earlier versions. It's made of fir and finished with paint and lacquer, with manually wound pickups as I didn't find any seven string pups readily available.
