Off the album Live '83 - I took the songs and sped them up a bit in audacity because it seems the first issue of the album was released with a flaw where the speed and pitch of the songs were altered, however I tried my best to get them to sound like they should.
Zeeb Parkes - Vocals
Phil Cope - Guitar
Rod Hawkes - bass
Dermot "Derm the Germ" Redmond - drums

  • hey dude wasnt toss mecready the only bassist that ever recorded with wfg?

  • McCready was on the Burning a Sinner single and Soviet Invasion, both of which are featured on Buried Amongst the Ruins. One the albums Death Penalty and Friends of Hell it was Phil Cope under the Nickname "Woolfy Trope" and this live album had bassist Rod Hawkes who also appears on the new album resurrected along with Dermot, the drummer.

  • One the greatest bands of all time! Sounding a lot like Sabbath but incorpoting there own style........... Love that Guitar sound, wouldn't have sounded out of place on Vol 4......

  • thanks for that

I am a long time, fan of this great band!

phil cope is a great guitarist!

the solos reminds me always to Toni Iommi, but he has his own style!

phil played at the time, I think a laney 100 watt clip, and a gibson sg (Junior?) sounds killer at 7:25! Great Rifff !!!!!!!! sorry for my bad english

  • Lol thats awesome man, I love doom!

  • You bet i've heard of sheavy, my band plays doom metal. If you wanna get started on Doom Metal bands, I suggest purchasing the album Relentless by Pentagram ASAP, as well as listening to some Saint Vitus, Electric Wizard, Witchfinder General, and Sleep.

  • ohh
