Fiat-owned Maserati looked no further than sister brand Alfa Romeo when choosing its new courtesy car. The company acquired 100 Alfa Romeo MiTo units to serve customer needs when their Maserati's are being serviced.

The special edition MiTo is equipped with a turbocharged 1.4-liter MultiAir petrol engine producing 170 horsepower. In keeping with a sporty look, the car rides on 18-inch alloys, and carries "a rear spoiler, a sporty rear bumper and aluminum pedal unit." Alfa's active suspension is also included.

The MiTo is painted in Maserati Ocean Blue, with tan Frau leather seating and multi-function steering wheel. Other features include sat-nav, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, USB port, and bi-xenon lamps.

Rounding out the package are the aluminum "Alfa Romeo for Maserati" kick plates, and the "Limited Edition" badge on the a/c. The MiTo-for-Maserati should show up at Maserati service centers shortly.
