Turn up the volume and listen to these V8's haul up the mountain!

The only sound is the motor and the only speed is real. Jimmy Olson and Spencer Steele let you take a ride along with them and find out what it is really like to bring your tire to the edge of a cliff at over 100mph! Imagine strapping yourself in to one of these machines and traveling 12.4 miles and 156 turns in only 10 minutes and 53 seconds!

Results:
1 43 Spencer Steele 10:53.1
2 69 Jimmy Keeney 10:53.7
3 40 Jimmy Olson 11:36.8

  • I'll give mad props to Jimmy Olson and Spencer Steele. Congrats to them for placing first and second in 2011 Pike Peak Hill Climb. Jimmy and Spencer are good friends of my dad's.

Heh, well your 4x4 also has quite a lot higher center of gravity than these cars do, so they would be a lot harder to flip. But yeah, it's freaky stuff indeed.

I did some rallying a few years ago, though in nothing like those beasts.

It was good fun though, I would recommend trying it out at least once in your life. :)

  • @Jesus45U I flipped my fourwheeler going 56 on gravel.. :/.... So i can imagine like 68 on part gravel. I would NOT want to do that!

  • btw ... 12.4 miles in 10m51s equals an average speed of 68.5 miles per hour ... on part gravel, that's pretty freaky. :)

  • Dang, that was awesome.

Offcourse, awesome is what you get when you put cars sideways that have the same kind of power as a F1 car. :)

  • @JoshMcGuckin Brilliant - many thanks!
