This rendition of Song of the South, especially the exquisitely poignant harmony at 4:15, evokes in me the deepest feelings of tenderness. Perhaps these words from the Masters of Harmony website say it best:
"...we left the hotel and went to the Rose Garden Arena in total silence...still in silence, we walked single file to the stage...then we heard the pitch pipes blowing and saw the curtain being raised...then it was over. We were drenched in sweat and knew we had given it our all."
