can i use the grains with the almonds milk too ? I wanna use the milk kefir grains to make the kefir from other liquids, like seeds & nut milk or can i use the grains intended for milk to prepare some fruit kefir ? or i have to use the water kefir grains ? plase help someone- and thank you in advance :)

why isnt my kefir that thick i have about 9 tsp of grains for only 1 cup of and i ferment it for about 8 hrs anymore fermentation and it will be ultra tarty

@4007fairview u know u can get water kefir if your worried about milk i use milk kefir tho because i like the yogurt taste water kefir is more like soda

Can you share where you got your milk kefir grains?

I don't know enough about milk kefir yet, I guess I'm hesitant since I've been vegan for almost 3 years - about using cow's milk again. But - I'm learning!
