Azhar Hussain gives an overview of the TTX02 and explains the reasons for its production. That shortly after the TTXGP race on the Isle of Man in June 2009, many teams, individuals and organisations approached TTXGP asking where they could get bikes from, where the information was, and what support there was for new teams. The Mavizen TTX02 was brought into production to make it easier for people to go racing without having to build their own bike from scratch and to support them to learn about the electrical engineering skills required. The idea is to grow the number of bikes on the grid in electric motorbike racing, and so that a successful and competitive series can be supported.

Those motors are damn expensive stack knobs.
the cost of crashing this bike make it financially unfeasable to own.
