This isnt an ecluptus this is an african GREY

@zaney54 not really. Depends on the species. Cockatiels, Macaws, and small species aren't guaranteed talkers, but african grey and amazon parrots always imitate sounds around them. Almost all of them eventually learn at least a few words from their owners without any effort at training.

Hurricane season started June 1st. We are on higher ground now, so I am not going to worry about flooding anymore, but the wind?

Hi,
Sorry it took so long to thank you for the complements. We were impacted very badly by Hurricane Ike. We have moved into Houma, La.
Zulu is 20 years old. We have had him the whole of his life and he is the sweetest old African Grey around. Loves aeveryone. I just say "Don't worry, be Happy" and he will do the whole song whistling. He is another Einstein. He learned the song after the Hurricane and things were so very stressfull. We are now in our new home and happy.
