World's only deafblindness professor

Dutch deafblind children are often sent to the wrong school. According to the world's only deafblindness professor, Marleen Janssen at the University of Groningen, this affects the development of their communication skills. At the only deafblind school in Holland, there are currently 58 children. Many more should be sent to study there.

Dumbodog, are you serious? As a blind person, I find your assumptions highly offensive.

Let's examine this more closely. Every person, regardless of difficulty or handicap has other ways of doing things. The brain adapts. We don't get super senses, we just use them more observantly because we have to. Put a little thought into this.
