  • IMPOSSIBLE DO NOT BE TOUCHED BY THIS POWERFULL VOICE AND SOUL!!!!

  • @redcoasthustler I was there. It was Wembley Stadium, London, 1988. I guess about ... (?) 80,000 in the stadium. Mandela's 70th birthday; he was till in prison - apartheid still ruled in South Africa. Stevie Wonder was expected at this point in the concert. There was a backstage problem and the relatively unknown Tracy Chapman was sent out instead. The rest is history.

  • no more whisper!!!!! its here now sista!

  • She is amazing here! I saw her at The Roxy in Hollywood that year in a solo performance!

  • @BeneWur I have been reading a bit about this concert and I'm not sure anybody knows.. But the show was broadcastet to 600 million people around the world though it wasn't broadcastet to South Africa. Tracy Chapman had sold around 250.000 cd's before the tribute and a very short time after the sellery had risen to around 2 million cd's :)

  • wow :D how many people visit the stadion :D ?! ♥
