Install one of this camera in your car it might help you sometime. It is a Vehicle Safeguard Camera System which will do recording while you are driving. The recorded details will be saved in the SD card on the slot (support up to 2GB). Just in case you need evidence in police station or insurance company. It can be powered either by 12V DC power via cigarette lighter or two AA batteries.

Hi -- does this unit have a date and time stamp? Is it only started by power on from the cigarette lighter or does it have motion detection.

Would you buy it knowing what you now do about it?!

Hi,

this unit does not have a date & time stamp. You can start the recording by pressing a power button on the unit...I may consider installing the unit now given that my car was vandalised just 2 weeks ago...

there are plenty of options out there kartracer6, try for ccd (not CMOS) also for night vision - the difference is night and day.

Not really a fan of no sound. but I guess you get what you pay for right...I was considering buying one of these but I'm not sure if it's worth it. but still I would like a mounted camera in my car not sure where to look
