A great video of one of my favorite Peter,Paul and Mary songs. This song is off the "Around The Campfire: album. It teaches us a great lesson, you don't have to be the best at something,to have success and fun!

  • Yes that is right Jehukjehe! I will never forget him signing this important song either!

  • Your welcome Rockygirl2

  • I played right field, but every now and then I got to play first. Just remember, a good right fielder will back up the throw to first base (which can be important in little league when the first base man may not always catch the ball).

  • @amribs6 Playing first is tough, even in little league, that is where alot of action is.

  • Love this song, love this performance, LOVE Peter, Paul, and Mary! Thanks for posting!

  • @paultheeggman I am happy I could share this with you. Your welcome. :)

  • i was there! it was their 25th anniversary. i was a kid and my parents and me and my sis were the only black people there. thats where i learned to appreciate all music. it was like the first step in my music career

  • It's so sad that Mary past away. :( RIP.

    This song is awesome.

  • Is it wrong that I have tears in my eyes? This tune really hit a chord with me! =D

  • Never heard this version (which is great, of course - love P,P&M!). Heard it on a radio show here in St. Louis, done by Jason Alexander. His isn't on pitch as much as this, but has a great poignancy to it. Actually found this looking for that! :-)

  • Wonderful!

  • Very enjoyable

  • Love it. Just love it.

  • This clip is from PP&M's 25th anniversay show on public tv. I saw the whole thing and cried buckets! It is where I first heard Paul sing "El Salvador". It tore my heart open...I will never forget.

  • i wbsolutly love thid song!
