Wow. I had no idea that she didn't like working with kids. I never would have guessed. Anytime I saw her onscreen with the kids that played her kids, she seemed so happy and natural with them. Even more so with the little girls that played little Belle. They seemed so comfortable and natural with her anytime they were doing scenes.
I guess she did it anyway because it was part of her job even if she didn't want to. It just surprised me to hear that because it came across that she enjoyed it.

I think she means that she likes the kids, but she doesn't find it natural or appropriate to have a child do staged things like cry on cue, laugh when the camera is on them, etc. Especially with babies because they're somewhat oblivious to what is going on around them. xx
