I've seen him defend HAMAS on BBC programmes. I think you can interview anyone and edit that interview to show what you want. I'm still suspicious about this documentary.

There was a lot of violence between FATAH and HAMAS supporters at the time. Those people were FATAH supporters demonstrating against the newly elected HAMAS government.
