Wildcat Reunion: Part 7

Sharpay walked out of the bathroom after what seemed like years for Troy. He was promptly sitting on the bed, he was fully clothed. He had a white t-shirt on and he had his dress pants from last night. Sharpay walked out of the bathroom wearing a pair of white shorts and a simple dark blue tank top. She was drying her hair with a towel and hadn't noticed Troy still sitting on the bed.

Troy cleared his throat, chuckling slightly. Sharpay brought her eyes up to Troy; suddenly she felt a pull towards him. Without even thinking about it she walked towards Troy, she stood between his legs as he brought his hands up to her waist. She leaned her head down and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. She could feel the slight itch of his newly growing beard. She didn't mind, however, his lips felt nothing but right against hers.

The kiss was gaining heat, but Sharpay slowly pulled away smiling. Troy rested his forehead against hers and looked into her eyes, which were closed, but the smile was still plastered on her face.

Suddenly, something clicked in Sharpay's head ... "What does this make us, Troy?" Sharpay asked as she pulled away from his forehead and looked at him in the eyes. Troy seemed to be loss of words. He wasn't sure what would actually become of them. He knew that he didn't want t be away from Sharpay for another second in his life, though. Somehow, she had captured his heart.

Since that day that he saw the vulnerable side of Sharpay the last time he saw her, something in him made him long for her. He just wanted to start something new with her.

Sharpay and Troy sat out in her parent's backyard. Sharpay had finally told Troy that she needed to return to New York City in a few days, she had a new production coming up. She didn't want to let him go, but she had a life that she had to return to in New York. They had been spending the last two hours talking about this.

"Sharpay, I will go with you. I know that it is all so sudden, but there is something about you that made me fall for you...I know, crazy." He chuckled and shook his head as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Troy, I've loved you for the longest time, but I have a life in New York that I need to go to, and you have a life in California. I won't take that away from you", she responded as she felt hot tears welding up in her eyes.

Troy brought her close to his chest; he shushed her and tried soothing her. "Sharpay ... don't say that. You are my life now" He said. Sharpay wasn't sure if he was being serious, but there was something that made her want to believe him.
