If I had to choose I'd pick the one based on a proven design not one that is over budget and trying to fill every niche the military can think of. So my choice is the Mig. The F 35 is a joke, a bottomless pit for the US military to through money at. As far as the DoD not being impressed, you think they would actually risk backlash to say the Mig is a good plane. Hell no everyone of them will say the US plane is better. Nobody ever said how the Mig 29 did against US planes in mock combat either.

wow...how our western governments don't see how diabolical this plane is going to be I do not know, but for one thing the MiG-35 can outmaneuver the F-35 like a bitch. Someone please tell who's smart idea it was to convince the US that their Navy needs a single engined fighter instead of a two engined fighter? What happens when they have engine failure? Oh wait...they can't just shut an engine down...they have to ditch. I'm all for western technology, but fuck the F-35 and our wasted billions.

At that time even the US media wrote about the USAF in front of the senate committee asking for money for the Raptor (latest US fighter). They called it a political suicide to tell the American public that the government is putting their pilots in an aircraft where they are probably going to die at a rate of 9 to 1
