Cream Soda live at Vertigo, Bossier City, LA

Me in one of my old bands "Cream Soda" playing live at Vertigo in Bossier City, Louisiana. This was recorded with a full size VHS Camcorder. lol remember those big things? So the quality is not the greatest, but will give you an idea what our live performances were all about. These are just clips of some of the songs. The maximum you can upload is 15 min so I really had to trim it down. I might post individual whole songs at a later date. The song playing during the ending credits is our single we had called "Can't put out the fire" . I think we had our own original sound with that song. The cover songs we did consisted of bands like: Skid Row, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, U2, Cinderella, Pink Floyd, Motley Crue, Metalica, Guns and Roses, Grand Funk, Led Zeppelin, Blue Oyster Cult, The Cult, Kiss, and many more. These were a great bunch of guys and I really enjoyed singing with them. We had a lot of fun on the road. My bandmates were Randy Smith on drums, Ronny Smith on Guitar (yes they are brothers), Walt Matrana on Bass Guitar, and me David O'Toole (Stelts back then) on vocals. I was in another band with Walt Matrana as well and it was called "Drama Club". Randy and Ronny still play today together in a really cool band called "Soul Circus" and they are based out of Shreveport, LA. If you're in the area: definitely check them out where ever they're playing. I also added some then and now pics after the credits which I thought were pretty cool.

i remember seeing randy and ronny playin at the orbit in bossier city, then they were in LUCKY my freind david emilia played bass with them for a couple shows. we all went to monroe one weekend and had a blast

@marcusharp I remember their "Lucky" days. We played in Monroe all the time at the Cartoon Lounge. Is that the place you were talking about? My other band "Metal Toyz" played there all the time as well. It was a small place, but always packed and a great party!!! Thanks for watching the video!!!!!!!!!!!! It's amazing on how the internet has made this place such a small world.

@Spawn34 Wow cool. You were at that exact show?? It was a great time. Yes, definitely check out Soul Circus. Randy and Ronny Smith (drummer and guitar player) are in that band. As for me? I'm up in Michigan now and have a really cool new band project that I'm singing in. I can't say much about it right now because it's a big secret..... but I can say it's going to be a freaking great show!!!! So you still live in the Shreveport area? That's cool. I really miss all my friends down there.

this was about 1981 just before lucky it was ronny , randy , and my friend dave on bass, me and david were in the air force at barksdale. i played harp on a blues tune with them  once or twice . they probably dont remember. but it was cool we were all around 20 years old.
