A US-based Kenyan professor is about to be honoured by American President Barack Obama. Dr. Wanjiru Kamau-Rutenberg, who teaches at the University of San Francisco, is the founder of Akili Dada, an organization that provides secondary school scholarships and mentorship to needy girls in Kenya. As NTV's Larry Madowo reports, she will be feted as a Champion of Change at the White House this Monday, among 14 other leaders in the American Diaspora community, with roots in the horn of Africa.
