This is a healthier pie crust with no trans fat, no fully or partially hydrogenated oil. This recipe is posted at http://www.anyrecipe.net/dessert/recipes/piecrust_without_shortening.html

  • I liked this video. I found it through the Banana Cream Pie recipe, another video I liked. I like them because the instructions are very clear and the picture is very good. What's more, this recipe doesn't use shortening, which I just happen to not have. Thank you very much for sharing this with us!

  • @littlemissjaded12345 use a fork

  • @joyville2 because there is a difference between butter/Oil and shortening

  • Heathly alternatives are always good.

  • @joyville2 exactly.....and to top it off ts veggie oil.... not even a healthier oil. people should research how bad soy is for you before labeling veggie oil "healthy oil"

  • Why is this labeled "how to make a pie crust without shortening" when there is butter and oil in it????

  • thanks for this! =D

  • Yay, thanks for posting this.

  • is it okay if you use like a different oil for it?
