Atlantis is trending on the 135th and final launch of the 30-year old space shuttle program. Hundreds of thousands gathered at Floridaapos;s Kennedy Space Center to watch the shuttle begin its 12-day resupply mission to the International Space Station. When it returns to earth, Atlantis will join Discovery and Endeavor in retirement. Private companies and Russiaapos;s Soyuz spacecraft will take future cargo and astronauts to and from the space station, as NASA plans to devote its resources to unmanned deep-space exploration of asteroids and Mars.

  • @Gipple02 it's scientifically proven if u hurt children in the 20xx century bracket u die horribly, so don't do it they just want more money through taxes, they lie to suck ppl dry of their life savings by saying it's for the kids and the future wen it's actually to make them more arrogant, u really think we shuld care about space wen we can hardly feed ourselves in this country/ or while we sit in our house and freeze, caues we have to pic which bill 2 pay? gas, energy, or food.

  • @cockwiper A far more SHAMEFUL day than 9/11. The 9/11 attacks were from an external enemy. Giving up the space program, that came from inside.

  • @CaseyIsHotnPregnant third world? didn't gb make the states a fourth world well america will go down cuz everyone is fat and the country will sink cuz it cant support all the weight

  • @videoguy604 really I thought it was 9/11 nv guess I was wrong

  • @MyDadCantCatch I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!

  • I just saw it land for the last time. And I'm crying like a little girl. Here's hoping the future brings us more adventures.

  • Strange coincidence? The shuttle is scheduled to return to Earth on July 20th which is the the exact day that Niel Armstrong walked on the moon 42 years ago in 1969 - a.k.a. "the good old days"!!!

  • Fuck u @MyDadCantCatch

  • @videoguy604 Not entirely our fault, ask the man who diverted all of our funds to WAR. *coughbushcough* Had it not been for him declaring a war on terrorism, we would have more funds, and if those rumors that he was only hungry for middle-eastern oil, then maybe, our twin towers.
