I'm not sure he ever performed it live, there was a rumour that it was played at the folk awards aftershow party. Not with Weller though.

He lost a leg from a burst cyst, possibly caused by years of bad living, in 2004. He has problems swimming, which he used to love, hence the weight - oh, and the bacardi and coke (!)
