  • hm dont get the fiberglass question, but i'll try to answer as best as i can, here goes. well the fiberglass will be for weight i am trying to cut weight from the back end and put the weight in the front. i want to get at 1400 pounds. if i can well i started calling it MK3 but it was in the golf videos. so i put it on the MK1 thing. will need to cut the trunk though to fit engine. (engine from lotus else). well if you have more question.would be happy to answer them. or want more pics just ask.

  • yes mattoy123 it's a mess right now but maybe if i explain it to you it will make sense why its like that. the white stuff is a "mold" and i am going to copy the mold with fiberglass then take off the mold and put on the fiberglass. hmm anyways i think its going well. but that's just me :).

  • @appleapple1982 actually that "white stuff" is called a plug, from which you make your mold. I am considering doing something similar to my Bertone X1/9 once I can move somewhere with a garage, how are you planning on attaching the finished casts? Rivets?

  • @Z2theONA made "bridges of sheets" welded them together, check out my newest vids to see what i am talking about. or see my cardomain. ride 3313896
