  • Lennon wrote very little of Fame. According to himself in an interview he just kept shouting "aim" while they were jamming in the studio. Bowie thought he shouted Fame and was inspired to write the lyrics.

  • this was a song done by the flares in the early sixties. this is a cover... the guitar riff in the beginning just sounds a lot like fame.
