I really liked this movie, and so did alot of movie goers.
I don't know why you other guys can't just enjoy this movie for what it is, simple and fun, the way I feel most movies should be.

@sfighter991 I'm sure there are, just as there were some who liked Joel Schumacher's god-awful Batman films. But eventually Christopher Nolan came along and gave comic book fans the Batman films they wanted by sticking to the graphic novels. :) Not really suprised about 'Dragonball Evolution.' I know Sommers is coming back, but at least he won't have anything to do with writing the story this time, so we'll see how it goes. I would have preferred Joss Whedon or J.J. Abrams, though.

@sfighter991 I know there is a sequel in the works, and the hack writer who did the first one got replaced by the "Zombieland" writers, so we'll see if there's any improvement. And there's no use in trying to "enjoy this movie for what it is" when I know from the comics that it can be done much better. That's just an excuse for slacking off and settling for less. Fans deserve better.

Sorry to tell you this, there is a sequel in the works for a 2011 or 2012 release, you should've just enjoyed this movie for what it is.

Yeah, I know, but it's only because of the marqee-value, since it casted Sienna Miller, Marlon Wayans, Dennis Quaid, and the Brendan Fraiser cameo. Of course, it fits the pg13-rating, wich is today's shitty standard.
Oh by the way, if a movie is the top box office doesn't it mean it's awesome or great, they are usually total garbage. the people who decide that have absolutely no idea what a great movie is, or are smoking crack.
