According to a recently released poll by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press.- Three in 10 people, 29 percent, now say they have a living will. That's more than twice the 12 percent, who said that they had put into writing how they wish to be treated medically back in 1990. While there is a rise in the number of people who have living wills, living wills do not protect people n leave u more at risk because it is a signed, witnessed declaration instructing a physician to withhold or withdraw medical treatment from its signer. it might surprise you to know, the living will was drafted and promoted by euthanasia and right to die groups as a way of leaving people vulnerable to the inroads of euthanaisa.

If you are in a terminal condition and unable to make decisions about medical treatment, A Living Will takes rights and control from its signer and gives decision-making authority to a physician. It also gives a physician complete immunity from civil or criminal liability for his or her action or inactions.
