part 3 - i missed out putting the wings on! Ran out of memory card space... but i hope its still easy to follow :)
NOW I REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE TOOL -- a gumpaste GUN ! haha... it kinda functions like a garlic press :) wow, wish i had one of those... but like i said, esp for beginners...we can always look for other ways to make it if we dont have the exact tool on hand.

  • would these be OK for a boys christening cake? and can you store these i the fridge?

  • you can use these for a boy or a girl's christening cake. once these are dry, you can store them in an airtight container-- not in the fridge -- and they can last months even years. you can make them days in advance.the wings take overnight to really dry hard

  • ermm.. sound silly to ask.. but can this thing be eaten ? or is it jus for decoration ?

  • it is for decoration-- but if someone was crazy enough to bite or lick it-- it is still sugar anyway and is technically "edible"

  • I love that you are so helpful in teaching your craft to us novice's on youtube. Can you please tell me what is fondant glue. You used this term and I do not know what that is. Is it water mixed with something to attached the hands/head to the figure? Is it egg whites? Please help. Thank you I love your videos!

  • fondant glue is a clear edible glue that is made by mixing 1 part of the tylose powder to 30 parts water. ( usually i teaspoon to 30 teaspoon)... others use piping gel, others use melted fondant. i use tylose glue because it dries .clear
